Donald Lamberton
Donald Lamberton (1927–2014) was an Australian economist. His work focused on information economics.
==Early life and career==
He grew up in New South Wales. He was homeschooled until the age of 11〔Macdonald, Stuart. "(Don Lamberton 1927–2014 )." Prometheus 32.3 (2014): 223-225〕 and in May 1942 (just 14) went to work at the Bank of New South Wales.〔Lodewijks, John Prof (2007) "(Professor of Foresight; An Interview with Donald Lamberton, )" Journal of Economic and Social Policy: Vol. 11: Iss. 2, Article 5.〕 He earned a degree in economics from the University of Sydney in 1949〔 and then worked for the Sydney Morning Herald as a financial journalist and in research and statistics at the Sydney Stock Exchange.〔
